Desktop rebuild, signed macOS DMGs, native Linux updates

The desktop shell was rebuilt into its own workspace with releases served from downloads.mongoqui.com and an auto-update manifest worker. macOS DMGs are code-signed per architecture, Windows ships an NSIS installer, and Linux gets an apt repository for the .deb plus a self-integrating AppImage. In the app, $out and $merge run from the shell and index management is scoped per tab.

Three flagship features land on the same day. The AI Report Assistant brings natural-language analytics and schema-aware BI suggestions to Report Builder, powered by schema-aware AI inference. Report Re-Run lets you refresh any report against new data with one click. Public share links can now require a password, stored as a salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hash, alongside the optional expiry date.

Release cadence questions.

We merge to our development branch continuously. Desktop releases go out roughly monthly, with point releases in between when a fix should not wait. Each release is published to downloads.mongoqui.com and installed apps show an update banner when a new version is available. Big feature blocks get their own dated entry here.
